At Prophecy Today Ministries, we believe that the one spoken of in Gen 3:15a is none other than ...

Gen 3:15
15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed (JESUS); He shall bruise your (satan) head, And you shall bruise His heel."
NKJV

The Seed will have the ability to bruise the head of the serpent. We do not hold this to be poetry but a literal accomplishment. This Seed is the Messiah. The serpent is a powerful fallen angel. His destruction, as depicted in this verse, is speaking of a man-child Who will have the ability to remove satan from humanity's affairs permanently.

The birth place of Messiah Jesus is given in Bethlehem Ephrathah noted by the prophet hundreds of years before Jesus is birthed. Micah also tells us this ruler is from 'everlasting': In other words this One born in Bethlehem is eternal

Mic 5:2
2" But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting."
NKJV

This is the promise given by God in the first person to humanity and satan that satan will receive a death blow, a blow to the head, while Yeshua (Jesus) is injured but not mortally due to the Messiah's omnipotence and being fully God in the flesh yet fully man.

We cannot depend on our strength in obedience to enter Heaven and escape eternal destruction, but on the strength of God's Holy Spirit indwelling the believer1 to guide, comfort, and work miraculously through us as we follow Christ and speak of Him to others. Only through the Holy Spirit indwelling a person can they be counted worthy of entering Heaven

John 15:5
5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
NKJV

By His strength, we can call ourselves 'sons of God.' Man must be saved by the finished work of the Cross. Jesus has told us there is no other way to God but by Me. We must understand culture will not save us. Tradition will not save you. Man-made regulations will not save you. No personage other than the Messiah, as we find Him in the Bible and not by our creation, will humanity enter Heaven.

We are saved by a Holy God who cannot tempt us and assures us He is good. Regardless of our circumstances, we know that the God we serve is a just God and will not relent at the unjust acts of men if they do not repent of their ways. Man needs to be saved because the maker of Heaven and Earth is a just and Holy God who must judge sin. Each individual must make a choice. On the conclusion of our choice, we may enter into Heaven or be cast out into outer darkness for all eternity.

John 3:16-21
16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. 18 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 "And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. 20 "For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 "But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. He who believes in Him is not judged"
NASB 1977

1 John 3:2-5
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 4 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
NKJV

Christ, (Messiah) is sinless. He had to be the pure Lamb. The Old Testament speaks of lambs being offered as a sacrifice for sins. The Law points us to the Messiah. He is without sin. That is why we have the miraculous birth of the Messiah as we read in Isaiah. The spotless Lamb, pure in genealogy as required by Torah and noted by the Gospel of Matthew.

There is a redemption of the Body yet to be revealed. When we see Him, either at the rapture or when we leave this place and are found in Him, that is, believing in Him, we are given a body not prone to sin and decay. Physical death is due to sin. Death is not as natural as it seems in this time domain and state. But we are promised a body and a world that will also be renewed. Also, nature will be restored, and these creatures will no longer suffer.

Isiah 11:6
6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them."
NKJV

We claim Christ (Messiah) is born upon the earth and now sits at the Father's right hand in Heaven.

God supplied humanity with the substitution of the Lamb, which was slain before the foundations of the world were laid.

Abraham pointed out to us on Mt. Moriah - thousands of years before the Crucifixion of the Messiah - that God would supply Himself a sacrifice. God takes the place of fallen man so that man can enter Heaven as Christ sacrificed Himself on Mt Moriah. Only God could make the restitution. Good acts and rituals cannot mend the separation between God and man.

John 3:36
36 And anyone who believes in God's Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn't obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God's angry judgment."
NLT2

We fail, we confess, and we continue relying on the goodness of God and His grace. For now we look through the glass darkly but then we shall see Him as He is and we shall be like Him. At this time not all things are subject to Him but they will be under His rule. We look to the Heavenly City whose builder and maker is God. Heb 11:10 Heb 13:14

2 Cor 5:1-4
1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
NKJV

We do not want to claim earthly wisdom over the Bible's authority. We proclaim Christ as the head of the church, and the body (congregation) is His Church. If there be any thanks given, let us give thanks to God, the giver of all good things.

1 Peter 4:8
8 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
NKJV

And we believe that through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we have the ability to leave the things that would be cumbersome on the path Christ would have us follow. We are changed from Glory to Glory, His manifestation in our midst, and His Love and Comforter working within us as we hear His word preached in the congregation.

Rom 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
NKJV

Ps 37:5-6
5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
NKJV

Yet we fail, being in the fallen form till the day of our redemption; we continue to cling onto what is good. We know it is God who governs us.

Gal 2:20-21
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."
NKJV

Heb 12:12-15
12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. 14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
NLT2

1 John 1:6-9
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
NKJV

Yet here is help for everyone: Christ the Good Shepherd is standing by. If you will cry out to Him, though it be no louder than the pitiful bleating of the weakest lamb, He will hear and come to your rescue at once.

Look up before it is too late, and behold Christ sent by God to recover His throne and your liberty.

If you find a voice within your heart pleading for God and entering its protest against evil, you and your efforts are acceptable in His sight.3

Hosea 6:1
1 Come, and let us return to the Lord;
NKJV

Psalm 33:4
4 For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.
KJV

1 One who believes Jesus is the Messiah and that He has died for their sins; receives this salvation gift by turning from sins as taught in the Bible; commits to following Christ and continues to walk in God's grace knowing that the day of our Lord is at hand. We all come with different circumstances, but we all concede that we are sinners needing forgiveness and repentance.
