At Prophesy Today Ministries, we believe that the one spoken of in Gen 3:15a is none other than ...
15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed (JESUS); He shall bruise your (satan) head, And you shall bruise His heel."
... Jesus born in Bethlehem Ephrathah 2000 years ago.
2" But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting."
This is the promise given by God in the first person to satan that he will be receiving a death blow, a blow to the head, while Jesus is injured but not mortally due to the Messiah's immortality and being fully God in the flesh yet fully man.
We cannot depend on our strength but on the strength of God's Holy Spirit indwelling the believer1 to guide, comfort, and work miraculously through us as we follow Christ and speak of Him to others.
5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
It is by His strength that we can call ourselves 'sons of God.' It is by the finished work of the Cross that man must be saved. We are saved by a Holy God who cannot temp us and assures us He is good. We know regardless of our circumstances that the God we serve is a just God and will not relent at the unjust acts of men if they do not repent of their ways. Man needs to be saved because the maker of Heaven and earth is a just and Holy God who must judge sin. Men must make a choice. On the conclusion of his choice he may enter into Heaven or he is cast out into outer darkness for all eternity.
"For God so loved
the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17
"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. 18
"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19
"And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. 20
"For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21
"But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."
"He who believes in Him is not judged"
1 John 3:2-6
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 4 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
Men choose to go to hell instead of Heaven by their own freewill due to their blindness caused by the fall - their love of darkness instead of light and let us add that man is not completely blind although under the fall. God is not without a witness of His existence nor of His attributes as He is claimed by the Gospel. But men hide themselves from the truth of God's existence and from His morality.
We claim Christ (Messiah) is born upon the earth and now sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.
- He is Love
- He is Just
- He is our God
- He is our Savior
- He is our Judge
- He is Immutable
- He is Eternal
God supplied mankind with the substitution of the Lamb which was slain before the foundations of the world were laid.
Abraham pointed out to us on Mt. Moriah - thousands of years before the Crucifixion of the Messiah - that God would supply Himself a sacrifice. God takes the place of fallen man so that man can enter Heaven as Christ sacrificed Himself on Mt Moriah. Men reject God and spend their eternity in hell. Only God could make the restitution. The separation between God and man cannot be mended by good acts and rituals.
36 And anyone who believes in God's Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn't obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God's angry judgment."
We fail, we confess, and we continue relying on the goodness of God and His grace. For now we look through the glass darkly but then we shall see Him as He is and we shall be like Him. At this time not all things are subject to Him but they will be under His rule. We look to the Heavenly City whose builder and maker is God. Heb 11:10 Heb 13:14
2 Cor 5:1-4
1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,
3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.
4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
We do not want to claim earthly wisdom over the Bible's authority. We claim Christ as the head of the church and the body (congregation) is His Church. If there be any thanks given, let us give thanks to God the giver of all good things.
1 Peter 4:8
8 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
And we believe that through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we have the ability to leave the things that would be cumbersome on the path Christ would have us follow. We are changed from Glory to Glory, His manifestation in our midst and His Love and Comforter working within us as we hear His word preached in the congregation.
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
Yet we fail, being in the fallen form till the day of our redemption; we continue to cling onto what is good. We know it is God who governs us.
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."
12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. 14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
1 John 1:6-9
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Yet here is help for everyone: Christ the Good Shepherd is standing by. If you will cry out to Him, though it be no louder than the pitiful bleating of the weakest lamb, He will hear and come to your rescue at once.
Look up before it is too late, and behold Christ sent by God to recover His throne and your liberty.
If you find a voice within your heart pleading for God and entering its protest against evil, you and your efforts are acceptable in His sight.3
1 Come, and let us return to the Lord;
4 For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.
This ministry is here to teach and tell others about Christ through various means. The site was created though countless hours of study and work and is a continuing process of Prophesy Today Ministries. If you should feel led to give to this ministry, it will be used toward equipment, television broadcasting and other resources necessary for the continuing work of PTM. We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt ministry and you will be receipted for your gift.

One who believes Jesus is the Messiah and that He has died for their sins; receives this salvation gift by turning from sins as taught in the Bible; makes a commitment to follow Christ and continues to walk in God's grace knowing that the day of our Lord is at hand. We all come with different circumstances but all of us concede that we are sinners in need of forgiveness and repentance.
