Jesus said while He walked the earth

John 15:12-13
12 My command is this:

Love each other as I have loved you.

13

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Zech 11:12-13
The words recorded for us by Zechariah seen in white were written approximately 500 years before the birth of Christ. The words in red are illustrating God speaking to the prophet Zechariah, and further down the page red is used to illustrate the connection of the prophecy to the actual historic recording of the events fulfilling the prophecy. Again in verse 13 below written in white we see Zechariah Telling us what the Lord said to him.
12

I told them, "If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it."

So they paid me thirty pieces of silver.

13 And the LORD said to me,

"Throw it to the potter" - the handsome price at which they priced me!

So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the LORD to the potter.

Jesus-abc - Prophecy Today Ministries
Approximately 500 years later Jesus is betrayed for 30 pieces of silver by Judas. Judas throws the coins into the house of the Lord. Judas kills himself, a field is purchased with the money, and it is called "The field of blood." The field is used to bury strangers in the area. A potters field is bought fulfilling this prophesy outright.

The text in red below is used to illustrate the connection of the prophecy mentioned above to the historic recording of the event's fulfillment as recorded in the book of Matthew 25:15 and Matthew 27:5.

The writing below concerns the end of Jesus' ministry approximately 33 AD; His betrayal for the 30 pieces of silver and Judas ending his life. How appropriate a potter's field is financed by Judas. It would seem Judas had dug his own grave.

Judas states below that he has betrayed innocent blood.

Matthew 26:14-16

14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests

15 and said, "What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?" And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.

16 So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him (Jesus).
NKJV

Matt 27:4-8

4 "I have sinned," he said, "for I have betrayed innocent blood." "What is that to us?" they replied. "That's your responsibility."

5

So Judas threw the money into the temple and left.

Then he went away and hanged himself.

6 The chief priests picked up the coins and said, "It is against the law to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money."

7 So they decided to use the money to buy the potter's field as a burial place for foreigners.

8 That is why it has been called the Field of Blood to this day.

Matthew 26:59, 62-64

59 Now the chief priests, the elders, and all the council sought false testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, [62] And the high priest arose and said to Him, "Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?"

63 But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, "I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!"

64 Jesus said to him, "It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."
NKJV

Jesus kept silent

The prophesy below was written 800 years before the birth of Christ.

Isaiah 53:7
He was oppressed and afflicted,

yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and

as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
NIV

Matt 27:11, 22-23, 35, 51-54
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.

22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots

51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
KJV

Matt 28:5-6
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
KJV

Below is the Apostle Paul's letter to the Philippian Church telling us how Jesus Christ incarnated taking the form of man to save the human race. And how did Jesus do that? By raising Himself from the grave and defeating the curse of death itself. Jesus is the second Adam and we must be born again to take His form.

Phil 2:6-11
Jesus' face image

6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus stated at the start of His ministry (30 AD):

Luke 4:16-21
16 And he (Jesus) came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,

because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;

he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,

to preach deliverance to the captives,

and recovering of sight to the blind,

to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20
And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21
He began by saying to them,

"Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

NKJV

Regarding God's Love for humanity we read below:

Psalm 139: 13-18
13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother?s womb.

14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!

18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.
NKJV

1 John 14:9-10
9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
NIV

Isa 49:16
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of [my] hands; thy walls (souls) [are] continually before me.
KJV

1 John 5:13
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
KJV

Getting back to the book of Zechariah:

Zech 11:10-11

10 And I took my staff, Beauty, and cut it in two, that I might break the covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

11 So it was broken on that day. Thus the poor of the flock, who were watching me, knew that it was the word of the LORD.

Mankind rejected Jesus as a man while He was on the earth. Mankind will accept the false shepherd in His place - the antichrist at a time yet to come and is looming on the horizon.

At the time of Jesus' mock trial, it was a custom to release a prisoner once a year. Pilate offered Jesus this clemency, but the people chose Barabbas. A murderer instead of the Savior.

Matt 27:15-26

15 Now it was the governor's custom at the Feast to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd.

16 At that time they had a notorious prisoner, called Barabbas.

17 So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, "Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?"

18 For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him.

19 While Pilate was sitting on the judge's seat, his wife sent him this message: "Don't have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him."

20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.

21 "Which of the two do you want me to release to you?" asked the governor. "Barabbas," they answered.

22 "What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called Christ?" Pilate asked. They all answered, "Crucify him!"

23 "Why? What crime has he committed?" asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him!"

24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. "I am innocent of this man's blood," he said. "It is your responsibility!"

25 All the people answered, "Let his blood be on us and on our children!"

26 Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

Acts 3:14-15

14 You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.

15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.

Song 3

1 All night long on my bed I looked for the one my heart loves; I looked for him but did not find him.

2 I will get up now and go about the city, through its streets and squares; I will search for the one my heart loves. So I looked for him but did not find him.

3 The watchmen found me as they made their rounds in the city. "Have you seen the one my heart loves?"

(You can find Him here in Heaven.)

The Lord cannot turn from us. He loves us too much and knows we cannot exist without Him ... the Author of Life. Though He chastises us and punishes us, He will not completely abandon us.
Hos 6:1-3

1 "Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.

2 After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.

3 Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."

Isaiah 59:15 - 21

15 Yes, truth is gone, and anyone who tries to live a godly life is soon attacked. The LORD looked and was displeased to find that there was no justice.

16 He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So he himself stepped in to save them with his mighty power and justice.

17 He put on righteousness as his body armor and placed the helmet of salvation on his head. He clothed himself with the robes of vengeance and godly fury.

18 He will repay his enemies for their evil deeds. His fury will fall on his foes in distant lands.

18 Then at last they will respect and glorify the name of the LORD throughout the world. For he will come like a flood tide driven by the breath of the LORD.

20 "The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem," says the LORD, "to buy back those in Israel who have turned from their sins.

21 And this is my covenant with them," says the LORD." My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your children's children forever. I, the LORD, have spoken!

Hos 11:8-9

8 "How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused.

9 I will not carry out my fierce anger, nor will I turn and devastate Ephraim. For I am God, and not man - the Holy One among you. I will not come in wrath.

Please note that the time of the seven years of tribulation yet to come is a time of God's wrath poured out on the earth. His mercy is very evident during this period, but many will refuse it and curse God instead. At the end of this period, Jesus reigns on earth for a thousand years - the King of Peace, King of Jerusalem.

What we have in Hosea is a warning to Israel so they would repent. God was going to chastise them but not pour out His wrath upon the remnant.

A remnant finds Salvation through the great tribulation that encumbers the whole earth.

The Lord curses the antichrist who deceives humanity and who ultimately kills billions of people during his reign as the false messiah. The Lord will obliterate him at a set time. The antichrist's primary goal is to destroy the Jews and those who accept Christ and all life since God has created all.

We see him depicted as the worthless shepherd below in Zechariah, and in Revelation (at a time to come), we see a description of the pronouncement of this fulfillment in Zechariah. The narrative that states, "One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound" is referencing a conglomerate of nations that the antichrist leads.

The rider on the white horse is the antichrist. The impostor - as the Christ (Messiah) comes on a white horse as we see at the second coming to save the earth and humanity from the antichrist forces.

Zech 11:17

17 "Woe to the worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May the sword strike his arm and his right eye! May his arm be completely withered, his right eye totally blinded!"

Rev 6:2

2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider (antichrist) held a bow, and he was given a crown , and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

Rev 13:3-8

3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast.

4 Men worshiped the dragon (Satan) because he had given authority to the beast (antichrist), and they also worshiped the beast and asked, "Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?"

5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months (Three and one-half years of 360 days each).

6 He (antichrist) opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.

7 He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.

8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast (antichrist) - all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb (Jesus) that was slain from the creation of the world.

The Lord comforts those who have been slain for their faith in Christ. Those who have come out of the Great Tribulation, which is the last part of the seven year tribulation. The seven year period is broken into two segments. Jesus had warned the Jews about the Prophecy in Daniel regarding this time.
Rev 17:16-17

16 Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat.

17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of Living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Psalms 36:5-10

5 Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man and beast.

7 How precious is Your loving-kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

8 They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.

9 For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.

10 Oh, continue Your loving-kindness to those who know You, And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.

Matthew 11:28
28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

John 6:37
37 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
